NOT ALL THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD!

Many of us have had experiences with multi level businesses. Many have been frustrated and have given up, altogether, with multi level, while some have lost some money. The question to ask-Is multi-level good for you? I cannot speak for you, but I have had some negative experiences with multi level. Some have promised the sky, but failed to deliver. I want to make this clear, altogether, not all multi levels are bad. There are some good ones out there, but you've got to do your homework.

MULTI LEVEL BRINGS BACK OLD FRIENDS

Yes, that it true. Many of you have been approached by friends that you haven't seen in ages. It starts with a call. Your friend calls you and you are elated. A conversation ensues and this friend wants to come over and show you something. Sometimes, that friend does not tell you that this is a business opportunity, so he/she skirts the issue. The time comes and there is a half hearted welcome. The friend starts talking about old times and then they start showing you the business. A boring hour or hour and a half ensues with testimonies of people that have made it. Usually, it starts with I quit my job and all I work is 5 hours a week. Then, you see a DVD of fancy vacations and expensive cars and at the end-YOU CAN DO IT!

FRIENDSHIPS STRAINED

Afterwards, the friend tell you what do you think. You reply-I need to think it over. Then, the friend says-What's to think about and so on! If they are aggressive, they will bring their upline to your house and try to convince you. If that doesn't work, there is the invitation to the meeting and again the testimonies and hype. This has strained many a friendship. Number 1, you are disappointed that your friend wanted to use you for a business opportunity. Next, you may buy something because you feel sorry, but the friendship is strained or worse you get into the opportunity and find out that you've lost your money.

DO YOUR HOMEWORK

Yes, do your homework. A while back, I got into a "Great business opportunity" and nearly lost all my money. Worse of all, I recruited a friend, but thank God, he did not lose his money like I did. Like I said, there are some multi levels that are good, but don't go for the "fish stories" of working a few hours to get financially independent. Any business requires hard work, long hours and if you like tracking down friends and family, maybe this is for you. Experience has told me that in a multi level business, family and friends are the last to join. You are better off doing business with a stranger.

DON'T LET GO OF YOUR DREAMS

If you are wanting to have a business, don't limit yourself to a multi level business. Go learn a new trade. It's never late to go back to school or learn a new trade at the job. I was a truck driver for Verizon and all I knew is driving back and forth. When I retired, I learned a new trade-Being a service representative. Sure, it was different but at 54 years, I was determined to learn. Thank the Good Lord, I learned and have an opportunity to go up the ladder. It is never too late to learn. Finally, I am not against multi level business, but count the cost and do your homework. Any thoughts, feel free to leave your comments.
